We have been servicing and repairing cars since 1968, and have built a strong reputation for excellent service and value for money. We will always check with you first before carrying out any additional work.
Our service team are Renault trained mechanics who carry out all work on site and provide insurance approved accident repairs. For complete peace of mind all our work is guaranteed for at least 12 months. MOT testing is carried out by appointment.
We have specialised in Renault since 1981, however we service and repair most makes and models.
Diagnostics
Here at Queens Service Station we use the latest Renault Diagnostic machine "Renault Clip" which enables us to pinpoint and diagnose electrical faults causing the engine warning lights to be illuminated or to fix any other electrical issues you might have.
Over time Renault have increased their reliance on electronic and multiplex control systems in their vehicles in an effort to increase reliability, make the cars much more fuel efficient and reduce carbon emissions. This has meant that when an electrical fault does arise they can be quite complex to diagnose and it is not recommended this be done without the necessary equipment and knowledge. The consequences of getting it wrong could not only be expensive but with SRS airbag and pre-tensioner systems in mind they can potentially be lethal. Fortunately the Service team at Queens have the latest Diagnostic Equipment and are Renault trained mechanics.
For non-Renault cars we use the latest Snap-on Diagnostic machine.
We can also supply and code in new keys and keycards.
ECU Remapping
The performance tuning of engine management systems improves the efficiency of the engine giving your vehicle increased power output, torque and fuel economy. We can tune cars for both road or track use and even light commercials, trucks and agricultural vehicles. This procedure is perfectly safe and by careful recalibration of the engine management system, we can increase drivability with no detriment to reliability.

MOT Testing
Queens Service Station tests all vehicles at a test centre approved by the Government appointed Vehicle Operator Services Agency (VOSA)
and all MOT tests are completed by MOT testers nominated by VOSA.
